Highlights from the Black Truffle Festival
Truffle Festival
The innaugural Truffle Melbourne Truffle Festival. was held at Prahran Market on Saturday 20th and Sunday the 21st of June 2015 and celebrated the local, black truffle.
Back to back cooking demonstrations in the kitchen, featured fantastic chefs such as Karen Martini, Flo Gerardin, Dylan Roberts, Tobie Puttock, Phillipe Mouchel, Nicky Reimer and more.
Truffle morsels were available from the pop up Truffle Kitchen, and over 120 people sampled a variety of truffle offerings on the ‘Taste the Truffle Trail’.
Truffle Dogs wowed crowds with their Truffle hunting skills in the Market Square and live music entertained all.
The next Truffle Melbourne Festival will be held at Prahran Market in 2016- 17th, 18th and 19th of June 2016. Stay tuned for a full schedule.
