Autumn and apples go hand in hand, so when we received this Apple Crisp recipe (a modern take on the beloved Apple Pie) from ‘Sourced and Seasoned’ contributor, Renée (Hungry Bear Grazing), you can only imagine our excitement.
Nothing quite says autumn like an Apple Crisp. This simple recipe has traditional features (with a couple tweaks). Loaded with stewed ginger apples and topped with a crisp, consisting of coconut sugar, coconut oil, flour and oats. It’s absolutely irresistible, the smell alone while baking is just divine!
A big thanks to my friends at Prahran Market. This recipe features a few of my favourite Prahran Market growers/traders including; apple and ginger from Ripe Organics, flour and oats from 53 Degrees East.
This irresistible dessert is always a crowd favourite every.single.time. Happy baking xx
