Padrón Peppers

Spice up your Valentine's Day with a little pepper roulette, 1 in 3 of these peppers should have a little
spicy kick. Blink and you’ll miss the short season of these delicious peppers, so grab them while you
can from Damien Pike Wild Mushroom Specialist.

Serves 2

  • 2 handfuls padrón peppers
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • Sea salt to sprinkle

 

  1. Heat a cast iron pan or heavy based pan until smoking hot (literally).
  2. Add the peppers, turning them frequently until they are blistered on each side, about 1 minute.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with sea salt and serve.
