- Split carob pods lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Break into small pieces and dry out in a very low oven or a dehydrator.
- I put them on a tray in the oven at its lowest temperature for 3 hours.
- Place dried carob pieces in a spice grinder or food processor and blitz until smooth.
- Sift mixture to get rid of any larger pieces and you should end up with carob powder!
