- To temper the chocolate, place the chocolate in a small plastic bowl and place in the microwave for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Place in microwave again for 15 seconds, stir again. The bowl should have half melted and half solid chocolate, microwave for another 15 seconds if need be.
- Stir the chocolate to combine the solids with the liquid, until smooth and no lumps.
- Take a fig and dip it in the chocolate and then place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios immediately before dipping the next fig. Repeat until you have no figs left. Allow to set at room temperature. Serve your chocolate dipped figs within 2-3 days.
