Irish Cream – Traditional

Delicious celebration drink for St Patrick's Day or any time special! Recipe yields 3 ⅓ cups of Irish Cream. Irish whiskey may be added to this recipe to taste, if desired.

  • 340g evaporated milk
  • 1 cup cream
  • ½ cup milk (full fat)
  • ¼ cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup (refer to recipe)
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee per serving
  1. In a blender, combine all the ingredients (except brewed coffee); cover and process until smooth.
  2. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  3. Brew coffee.
  4. Gently heat the stored cream mixture.
  5. Pour brewed coffee in a mug and stir in ⅓ cup of the Irish Cream.
